Hey Everyone.

I have a blind house duck Mallard about 2 years old, male... he's not feeling well.

Symptoms:
Starting today he's been acting strange.
I have a hunch he ate something bad.
He keeps nodding his head side to side constantly.
Preening constantly and way more than usual.
Doing little wing flips to dry himself under the wings.
Seems like he wants to barf but he doesn't know how to (he's never barfed before).

Some Good Signs:
His balance is fine.
I sat him in a shallow tub of water and he is drinking water here and there.
I can tell he wants to go to sleep because he's been up for 10+ hours but he can't.
I can tell he wants to vomit... but he is blind so he easily get's confused and probably does not know how to.
He's pooping normal.

Is there a way to help him expel what's in his tummy, clean his system, help him get the vomitting overwith?

I'm not sure an animial would have to "know how" to vomit.
I would think it would just vomit involuntarily if it could.
Have you looked down its throat to see if maybe something is stuck in the esophagus or airway?

Thanks for all the links and i'll keep it for reference. He's doing just fine now. He definitely consumed some wild bird feed on accident. He escaped to the porch where the bird feeder is and must have ate the seeds that fell on the floor...

It was frustrating watching him helplessly, but he manage to pass it through his body. After he went to sleep. <3
