Sick of snakes.........

Walk outside to my quail pen tonight to pick up eggs and there is......was a 5 1/2 ft long now headless chicken snake!!! He already had one of my babies though, hope he enjoyed his last meal!!!

mammals in the spring, snakes in the summer? makes sense with the snakes, they are hot and their metabolisms are kicked up... need a quail farmers almanac...
