My Rocky used to be so vocal and would stand proud with his ladies out in the yard. He stopped crowing a week or so ago (I figured that the younger rooster just took over). Then Rocky started to lose weight and now has troubles standing. I had searched for injuries but saw nothing. His waddle is cool (was told it should be warm?). Then I found these bumps on him. He does not have bugs and these don't look like mite or lice eggs that I have seen online. I have 18 chickens, no one else is sick. I gave him a water concoction a seasoned chicken owner gave me. I don't know that he has drank any. I have seen him eat. He pretty much just lays around. Someone mentioned those could be ant bites. If they are, not sure if they would be the cause of the illness or if he got ant bites because I is just laying around now. His comb was darker at the tips, then got better, but is a little dark again. We don't want to lose him! I do have him isolated so no one else gets this and to keep him from getting picked on.
