The Rooster is about three to four to five punds, white, yellow legs, red comb and red wattles. Looked older when we first got him, now he looks younger and better. The rooster was rescued by another family member from a slaughter house in California. I think they were selling him to eat. The Rooster came to Az looking the worse for wear and was put in with the other chickens and given antibiotics in the water. It has a barking cough and mustardy colored diareha (runny and smelly) He also moves his neck around like he is uncomfortable. He has been this way for at least a month. Aside from that he eats, drinks and walks and he does look younger now and in better shape than when he came.

    Thank you

I saw something about yellowish poo on Diane's poo-ology site. If you look under my thread about my hen vomiting it is listed there so you can go and have a look. Good luck:-(

There have been threads on here before about people rescuing chickens from slaughter houses and it seemed to me it took a while before they adjusted and acted "normal."
