Is it a crow attempt for a chick to opens its beak like a big yawn several times in a row or is this an attempt at a crow? I have 8 chicks and 2 of them seem to do this.

    Thanks

The crop thing is usually what we see. They are pushing grit into their crop and moving all of it around...
