these silkie chicks, I know the dark on in the back will be black but the grey one looked like when he was a chick that he would be partridge when he got big but now I don't see much brown in him, he's gotten more grey then when he was a chick.
so will he be grey? you can see there big sister in the back, she's the broody mom that raised these to chicks.

also when will I be able to tell if a chick is a hen or a rooster?

Silver partridge. You may have to wait until they lay an egg or crow lol silkies are tricky.
