silki hatchery

    i have looked almost every were dose any one know a hatchery that is hatching silkis right now

    how big are silkies? and are they only bantams? I want to get some too![​IMG]
     
  4. Silkies are one of the only "True" bantams, meaning they weren't bred down from larger sized birds.

    on strombergs site gives you a poultry breeds information sheet chicken class of breeds weight egg color etc. it is good 6 pages but it said that silkies are 28-32oz at adult weight. here is the site to get that info sheet

    most places are sold out I would order eggs and hatch them you will get better quality as well. Good luck [​IMG]
