This is my little pet silkie, Cloud. Cloud is around 3.5 months old.
Sorry, no close ups of the comb. Might could get some tomorrow.

I was thinking boy before, but lately I'm thinking girl because the comb isn't as noticeable as my other 3-4 month old cockerel silkie.
But then again, this is a pet quality silkie, obviously, and Cloud's dad had a pretty small comb.

    I'm thinking girl though... You?

    Thanks!

I'm going with pullet, I don't see any streamers coming off the neck, but it could be too young to tell.

with the poof the way it is i will gander at it being a roo...just went through this with another person under the silkie sexing thread. everything about hers screamed hen but the poof had a very small comb, upon a closer look of the hackle feathers thined out over a red cloth it was found out to be a roo. silkies are really hard to sex

I keep going back and forth while guessing... girl.. boy... girl... boy...

I will likely keep him/her either way. [IMG]

I guess we'll know for sure once Cloud crows or lays.
