Silkie chick has yellow feet?! (sorry for big image)

Hi

I've got 2 silkie chicks which hatched about...2 weeks ago and one of them it large, blue and incredibly loud, while the other is quiet and has yellow feet.

Is this normal? This one hatched a day later than the other one, and that one hatched the last day before I was about to chuck the eggs out! It is fairly small for its age, and is...bullied by the mother (I think she has favourites). Of course, since she has 2 foster mommies, the other one is nicer to her.

Any ideas? Or am I just freaking out? These are my first chicks to actually hatch in my house, if that makes any difference XD

Neglected to mention...they are purebred, so there's no throwback to other breeds...

Mine hatch out black. Don't know if they do that sometimes. Haven't had silkies that long.

Have you found any info on your chick yet?

Keep watching them. We had Silkies hatch out with pink tips on their toes, and it grew out to the normal black. Don't get discouraged just yet. By a month old, ours had all black toes.
