Okay...so after a horrible experience with a particular hatchery and having 23 out of 26 silkies arrive DOA and the other 3 dying later that afternoon; I finally received my 8 (sexed) female silkies from My Pet Chicken (definitely worth the price of shipping)! I couldn't resist posting this pic of them sleeping in their feeder!! Too cute...

My sheltie walks back-n-forth between both brooders watching over the chicks...I swear she's smilin'!

I found a lady about 30 min. away from me who had 5 silkies and one of them happened to be a showgirl...thrilling!!
