Silkie chick still in pen with hen and rooster hen due to hatch more..

    What im wanting to know is....Can the 7week old chick stay in or will I have to remove him before the eggs hatch?

    That's a very good question! I wouldn't think it would be an issue, but I can't be for certain on that one. Hopefully someone with more experience in this area will speak up. [​IMG]

    if the hen is already accoustemed to the little one, i would try keeping it in, it may fit right in with the brood.

    the hen and rooster love him they still find food for him and call for him if he is scared they still run to him and he still sleeps in the nest with the hen.
