Silkie chick with six toes ?

I had a silkie chick hatch out today and it has 6 toes . Does that hapen some times or is it wierd ? lol

silkies are a breed which has 6 toes.

They're supposed to have 5 toes, but their lil feet are a bit strange, and I wouldn't be surprised to get one with 6.

Once in awhile you'll get one with 6 but they are, in fact, supposed to have 5. If showing is a consideration that extra toe is a disqualification.

Yep, they are supposted to have 5 toes. Polydactally is common in them.

I'm not a silkie expert...

so you guys would know more about me there lol.
I knew they had at least one extra toe... but then again I dont sit and count them lol.
