Hello again ^_^ Thank you for reading this.

I have 6 eggs which have been incubated for 6 days. All have eyes and veins showing, except one. I am not sure if i can consider it having the "ring of death" It doesn't look like anything is alive in there, but the egg may have been stored badly, and it is half the size of the other 5.

Could anyone take a peek and throw a view at me? I tested it today and yesterday and no change... i was going to leave it for a few days and see , but if it can be confirmed as a goner.. i will remove it now and clear the space.

    Thank you :]

Also, according to this website www.avianweb.com/candlingeggs.html They have been incubated at least 8 days... o.o

Sorry the picture isn't great, i had a few problems taking them.. my phone weighs a ton...

Should i give it a day or is it definitely a waste of time?

    Thank you again :]

To me i'd say it's done for... but then again, i don't normally candle and now i do, i like to be 100% sure i don't destroy a life before it begins :D

Looks pretty much like a goner but give it a few more days just to make sure if you're uncertain.

Thanks! I believed so too, I'll give it until the quail hatch, this weekend and then throw it out if it's still the same.

I had 1 egg that looked like early on when I candled them, when the rest did not have that. I was sure it was the ring of death, but decided to leave it in there for a few more days. I candled it again a couple days later & the ring was gone... Today, that chick is currently in the process of hatching... It's pipped! I would say to definitely let it be for a few days just to be sure! Oh, my eggs are also white silkie eggs.
