So I ordered 15 silkies from Purely Poultry, and they came this morning! Got the call at 7 a.m. to go pick them up. I split the order with another lady, so she was going to take 9 and I was taking 6. There was 7 packing peanuts in with them. So I put them in my brooder, and went to work, came home and one of the silkies had died...but he was pretty small to begin with. Then found homes for the peanuts, and decided to keep one, but he ended up dieing as well. So now i'm down to just my 6. They were assorted colors, possibilities being, black, buff, partridge, red, blue, or white. I think I ended up with 2 black or blue, 2 buff, 1 red, and 1 white. The white one is a lot bigger than the rest, so he might be a roo? Or just hatched sooner...I will be rehoming the roos, if any, when I can tell what they are! And I will be going to get "proper" food and water containers tomorrow, I didn't expect them to come today! But I am attaching a few pics. Enjoy!

awwww! Adorible little puff balls! ;)

How did you rehome yours? I did a big order so I KNOW I will be rehomeing a bunch of mine as well. I'm new to the area here so I need ideas.

A friend of mine has chickens, so I gave some to him, and then another one of my friends saw them on my facebook and wanted some for her mom, so it all worked out great for re-homing them [IMG]
