I did a search about sexing silkies. I have 3. Two are feathering faster and bigger than the other one. I found a post about sexing them from thier toes. 1st and 3rd toes. If you bring them together and are the same famale different sizes male. I tried it and if I go by that I have 2 roos and 1 pullet. Now these chicks are 3 weeks old today so they are still little. My concern is that these are my kids pets that are being raised with my chicks 9 BO's and 4 BR's. I was hoping to keep 1 rooster with the hens. If 2 of these silkies turn out to be roosters also will this cause problems? 3 roosters with 12 to 14 hens. Or do I not need to worry about silkie roos?
