Silkie/Cochin Cross hen or roo?

My silkie/cochin cross was acting really weird the other morning and I am hoping it's bc she may be getting ready to lay. What do you think, hen or roo?? Her name is Gloria and she is 6 months old. She's adorable. She was up on the perch inside the run area of my largish coop and just squawking like nobodies business. Even after I left the backyard she cont'd to holler. My other three chickens were not entertained.
