Silkie crosses, roosters or hens?

    These two birds hatched at the end of June, The orange one is a americauna/silkie and the white one is white one is a cochin/silkie. I'm about 90% sure the orange one is a rooster. they are both getting irridecent tail feathers.[​IMG]

    I'd vote roo on both of them... a lot of pink and comb/wattle for silkie mixes.

    I'd say that you have two roosters. The brownish one has a large comb, and has some darker patches on its wings. The white one has a red comb as well, also indicating male. Two pretty birds!
