It's now Day 23 for the first egg laid, Day 21 for the second egg, third egg has another day or two. The first two eggs have not hatched yet. I candled them and I see movement, just no pipping yet. I'm starting to worry. The eggs are under momma hen, and she's glued to those eggs. She's such a great momma so far. Ugh, these eggs need to start hatching soon! I'm so eager to see what colors they will be. Either look like momma or daddy. I'm ready to pull my hair out![IMG]
I'm starting to think they will hatch out on day 24 or 28. [IMG]

So we ended up moving momma hen and eggs inside our house in a very large cage. I was told to move her at night. So far she's staying on her eggs and happy in her little box. I'm hoping tomorrow we will see more pipping eggs. She's such a good momma!

Chick #1 hatched over night. It's a Blue!! He/she is very cute! I just wish I knew the sex, but the only time I'll know it's a boy or girl is when it's older. ugh! But it's still very cute! Egg#2 is pipped this morning, I'm guessing around dinner time it'll be out or close to being out. wooohooo!
Momma keeps tucking her little baby under and clucking back to the baby. What a great mommy!
    Here's the chick

Thank you! I almost didn't want to give it back to momma! hahaha. But hubby told me to give it back. I can't beleive she's such a good mommy. After moving her out of the barn into our house last night, she stayed put on her eggs and acted like she never left her orig. nest.
