Little darlings were hatched August 23rd so two months old. Too early to tell still? I have guesses but will wait to see replies from the experts.

Black - 3 pix same bird (one just had the flash off)

What do you think?

Crud. I was thinking the partridge would be my girl. Didn't get a really good picture of her comb, it's much smaller than the other's. Hubby was warming up to the idea of a rooster since we just had a hawk attack this week but I don't think he'd go for 4 boys!

I like this response much better! Yeah the little buff one is screaming roo isn't it? I was pretty sure the partridge looked girly so far but the black and blue make me wonder. I know it takes forever to sex them, it would be really nice if I ended up with only one roo and three girls!

Okay, I'm def not an expert (I've hatched out 10 silkies total - and the oldest are 5 weeks old, LOL) but I'm going to make a guess. I couldn't really tell from the photos if all the combs are raised or flat. I wing-sexed my 5 week olds the first week, and at 4 weeks the one I thought was male developed a raised comb, and the two I thought were female still have flat combs.

It looks like the blue and the buff have raised combs but like I said it's hard to see on the pics.

The last one I would say a male. First one could go either way but I'm thinking it's a cockerel also. I would say 2 and 3 are pullets.
