If you breed a silkie to another breed of chicken could the offspring have feathers like the silkie?

Not the first generation. I'm not sure how many generations it takes, but I am thinking at least 3 generations.

Not three, two. Forst generation gives offspring of H+/h. Bred to a silkie or a sibling (or another split), yuo will have some h/h chicks in hte 2nd generation. With a silkie, about half; with a sibling (or split), about a quarter.

I am not far enough along to understand the genetics so could you explain the breeding to siblings in more detail without the H/h stuff, as I have no idea what that means. I am very interested in this but I just don't understand enough about it. Any help you can give would be great. Thanks:)
