silkie gender and color question

Hi,

I have two silkies that I'm trying to determine whether they are roos or pullets. They are 9+ weeks old and there hasn't been any hints of crowing yet (not sure when silkies start). Also what color would you say they are?

Chick 1:
Larger of the two, I think hatched mid to late December. Lighter in color, white with slight hints of tan'ish color.

Chick 2:
Smaller one, hatched beginning of January. White background, but much more of the tan'ish color highlights.

Color seems to be Isabelle or "porcelain", I don't know the preferred color name, but #2 looks to be a pullet. I don't know about the first one, the smaller crest and shape is leaning towards male
