The comb on one of my 6 week old buff Silkies is purplish. Does this mean it is definitely a cockeral? Can the combs change color that young?

The combs on all silkies are supposed to be a deep mulberry color. Pics would definately help [IMG]

None of my 14 week old Sikies have coloring on their combs. They are all either black or dark grey. I don't know if I'll be able to find someone to help me post pictures.

You can upload your pics onto http://www.photobucket.com Then once your pics are loaded, under each pic you'll see different codes, use the one next to "Direct Link", clicking on the link will automatically copy it to the clipboard.

Then when posting on this site, above where you type your message, just above the smilies, there's a button that says "Img" click on that and you will see this come up in your message:

You want to put that copied link:

Your pic should come up, no problem [IMG]
