Silkie Gender?

    Total Newbie here!
    Just got this little guy a week ago now and was wondering if it is a its a male or female. I dont know how old he (I think its a he) is. I have 6 chicks coming on March 3rd that are also Silkies so many more photos to come! I understand they can be difficult to tell males from females.

    Looks almost like my Rupert and he is male, my girls all have much more fuzz over their eyes. Pretty sure that's a roo

    my birthday is 3/3 just sayin....i have 6 banties coming 3/27
    it looks like a girl...i dont see any streamers yet but ive been wrong before.

    Everything about your bird looks female except the tail feathers in the firs picture. A close up of the head would help me decide, but I think it is a hen.

    I could be wrong about it being a roo, I have a mixed flock and am by far not a silkie expert. So don't listen to me lol

    I think that is a cockerel. His stance, glance, and attitude. But with silkies it is difficult.
