I was so excited. Here is a picture of her. I t is really fun to show. Not so fun in preparation. Everyone needs to shampoo and blow dry a silkie one time. It was like a regular beauty shop around here. I can't say the Roos enjoyed it . here is a picture of my black silkie pullet.[IMG]
When I get time to upload some more pics I will.

Congratulations, Julie! What a beautiful girl she is! I can only imagine shampooing and blowdrying a Silkie, LOL.

You look very pretty and proud.
Is BB 'Best in Breed' (for those of us that don't know 'show speak'?

    Again, congratulations!

Thanks, Lisa I will show you pic of her by herself when I get back from church and have time to upload. Did I say they gave me 10 dollars. Wow I won something. I am new to this showing so don't know all the lingo but yes I think BB is Best in Breed and BV is Best in Variety. I am learning as I go.

[IMG] Congrats Julie!! [IMG] She is just beautiful! No wonder she won! It sure is a job washing and drying silkies. Very, very time consuming. They look so homely when they are wet and so pretty when they are puffy and dry. [IMG]

Here is a hen I entered and she got RV[IMG]

Unfornately she didn't get a shampoo. It was pouring rain for over 18 hrs when I got to her so she went muddy pen , foot washing in bucket to ride up to Show. She almost dryed from the rain in the two and half hours drive. She usually looks a little better.

This is the black again. I'm not good at making chicken pics in the pen if you have noticed
