Silkie or Cochin ?????

I just got a "rescue" bantam Pullet? -sole survivor from a racoon attack in city so had to be re-homed. Anyway this 4.5 month old pullet? originated from a western US hatchery....Not sure if it is a mutt or actually supposed to be something as is gorgeous. It is silkie feathered-white in color -but has thick cochin yellow legs/toe # & red head pigment/cochin comb type. But very few hard feathers & no black pigment. This is not a frizzle but perfect silkie feathering. Can silkie feathering show up as a variation of frizzle type in the cochin breed?

Yes, but not likely from a hatchery. Maybe just very very poor quality?
