SILKIE owners ONLY! Hen or Roos?

Hi fellow chicken owners!

I have 6 beautiful silkies 8 & 9 weeks old, it’s still early to tell sex as I understand but their combs are very different from each other. If you’ve owned silkies before or currently I’m sure you have a better understanding of their combs then I do. So what are your guesses, hen or roo? Don’t worry they will be loved regardless!

#4 and #6 are single comb silkies, so their not the typical combs you see on silkies. *******

#1, 3, & 5 look like cockerels.

ahh okay, so I agree with you on 1 and 5 (5 for sure makes me think roo 90%). The other 4 I was thinking hens, but I'm purely guessing based on their combs, I'm just hoping for more hens so there's no fighting. ha.

5 definitely a roo if no body else

Five is a cockerel.

He (pretty sure I agree) is sooo sweet!!! He came from the same place as six, hence I can tell them apart so well even though their both black. Five is much bigger in size then six as well. Little fluffy cotton ball!
