I have a 3 week old silkie just pooing water and walking around chirping like crazy. She also kept opening beak every so often like gagging. So I looked down her beak but could see nothing stuck. Her crop doesn't feel hard either. The brooder is at 80 degrees. Is there anything I can do to help this situation? Update: while giving her a couple drops of oil and massaging her crop she pooped a solid! But she's been shivering and is relentlessly trying to burrow under all the other chicks.

Turn down the temp its probably getting over heated

So yesterday it was like the watery stool pictured on that article. But for the past few hours it was water only no substance with it at all. But I'm happy to report that while I was giving her a couple drops of oil and massaging her crop she had something solid come out! Phew. But she is super cold like shivering. She's currently relentlessly trying burrow under all the other chicks for warmth 🤔

I have no credibility to say this so take it with salt maybe she has a very specific temperature range or she has whatever chcikens get for the flu an should probably be kept separate until she gets better.
