Is he hatchery?

He appears non bearded and he should have a lot better leg and foot feathering. Small crest.

Nice bird for a pet though....

I think he's handsomely clean, too. Mine have much more leg feathering and they are always dirty LOL

I got some beautiful birds from Melanie at Fluff N Stuff out of NY. They were mixed colors but let me tell you, the feathering, the poofs and the conformation are really fabulous.
Your little fella is a cutie but if you are wanting closer to show quality a breeder is the way to go. There are a lot of wonderful Silkie breeders here on BYC and you can get great birds from them.

He is a very clean boy..LOL...How do you keep him so clean??? Do you wash him because mine never stay that clean unless I wash them..LOL

Nope never wash them all of my whites are this white.
