Silkie sex and color thoughts greatly appreciated!

Sadly, I have to get rid of one of my silkie, who keeps getting pecked on by the others. I've tried to wait it out a couple weeks, and there seems to be no change in their behavior. I would love to hear any thoughts on gender and/or sex! I was told it was a female, but she seems to have started getting a comb!

I think he's around 12 weeks old. I just love him. He's such a sweet little chicken.
