HI This is a 4 month old gray Silkie I purchased at the Susses County fair from a lovely breeder. She/He was purchased along with another who I feel more confident is a female. This one made a brief "crowing sound" when she came out of the coop the two mornings ago but have not heard anything since. I have taken several pictures and I am unable to keep roosters so I am hoping it is a female but I need to find a home if it definitely is a roo. I already listed it on craigslist in a panic but havent heard any crowing sounds for two days. Thank you in advance. Anthony

Looks like a cockerel to me. Besides, nearly any bird that crows at this age is a rooster.
