She is 24-26 weeks old. I think her top knot would be alot larger if my bantam rooster did not try to hump her 17 times a day.... by grabbing her by the head:)

    Do roosters mount other roosters?

For 24-26 weeks old, that is most definitely a pullet.

she looks alot like my partridge hen - [IMG]

i'm lucky mine all started laying at about 20 weeks of age... it has to be a record for silkies, LOL!

  9. I have partridge silkies that is DEFINATELY a girl. [IMG] the waddles are large because shes a beardless, no fluff to cover them up (which also bearded tend to have little to no wattles where beardless of any breed tend to have noticeable ones. ) 2. the coloring is definitely girl. the comb looks big because of the shape and lack of fullness to her crest, which if you look you can notice its starting to fill in some (full of pin feathers). [IMG]

    shes very pretty.

as for someone's question boys breeding with boys, YES males will mate one another, one its hormones especially with "teenagers" and 2. its a way to keep lesser males "in line"
