Silkie sexing video fact or fiction?

Hello i just recently order blue silkies from ideal( coming in August) so I been researching silkie. I came across this video that shows the difference between a girl and boy silkie. Is this a good way to sex a silkie or no

Unfortunately, no, it's not that easy. Silkies are notoriously hard to sex.

Usually by 3 months or so you can tell as the boys mass up faster. We haven't kept the breed longer than 14 months or so. By 4-5 months you know for sure based on size and the fact that is usually when ours have started crowing. By the 8 month mark they are doing the normal roostery thing of calling alarms and calling the hens over to treats or potential good feed areas. Regardless, my experience is limited.

At the 1 year mark the hens go intolerably broody and are hard to break or bring you a pack of new chicks after you thought they crawled off and died!
