Silkie sexing.

Could you explain how you sex them? Four weeks is really young to be able to sex a breed like the Silkie.

I can tell by the puffy hair on their head. Males hair is more swept back while the females hangs in there face. Also, the females when they stand they stand in a squatting position while the males stand up straight.

Sexing by the tuft of hair on their heads isn't accurate. I had two silkie hens with rooster feathering.

That is just going to confuse people who don't know the breed. Silkies are extremely difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age, and sometimes not till they crow or lay.
