theyre both the same age, but look quite different so our guess is one is a boy one is a girl. Number 1 is bigger and chests pumps but is more similar to our gold top girl and walks more d shaped. Number 2 has funny little hair coming furry feet and is more independent. Put guess is number 2 is the boy... anyone got any ideas both silkie breeds also

#1 isn't a Silkie it is most likely a silky mix but for young silkies a straight picture of the comb helps the most. 2 looks to be a Cockerel. Oh and how old are they.

Number 1 has 5 toes like a silkie i thought it was only the pure silkies that had this!? I am a novice so could be wrong? I thought she was flying too much to be a full silkie mind

No, silkie crossbreeds almost always have 5 toes but pure silkies don't have feathers like that. They just have fluff.

Oh OK I did think there was something different about her haha just gone out with some meal worms to get a picturre of her face

They are 4 and half weeks so yes still young but it would make sense that they keep running round chest pumping everyone and so big also getting into mischief haha

The red on "her" comb is too red for a female. But don't take anything I say for granted because these chickens are so young, maybe 7 weeks and it is too hard to tell for sure

So whats your knowledge with polish chicks haha. We change our mind to boy girl daily with this one also only 4 and half weeks so know we can't be sure yet

Are they the same bird? The one in the second photo makes it look like a girl. But you are getting too anxious to know their gender, have patience until they are at least 10 weeks old lol

Haha oh i know I'm so impatient with it! The same bird one day they look like they've just performed in a rock band the next they look fresh from the salon haha. I would have an ultrasound on the egg to find out the gender if I could haha
