Is there any possible way to sex a silkie chick at 1 mth old I'm going pick some up n would like some hints on picking out a few hens if there is any

It's extremely hard, but you can try to look for the least amount of crest. That's about all you can do

Actually you'd want to look for least about of comb, not crest. My girls tend to have nice poofy crests long before the boys. But at 1 month it's still a guessing game.

I'm going to guess you have a pair with the top (white?) being a cockerel. But a side shot and maybe clearer comb shot would help.
