Silkie Shenanigans

Hi guys

Today I bought my very first Silkies!!! I bought a white cockerel, a white hen and a golden or as I call her a ginger hen.

I am amazed at how well they are settling in! Already they sit on my hand like I've had them for years and they are so docile. My other RIR/Sussex hens seem to like them. Below are some pics. I will be posting an update on them every couple a days so stay tuned.

UPDATE:Happy new year BYCERS!!! Turns out the Silikes were all boys!!!. One day in November a dog got into our garden and killed one of our RIR/Sussex cross and Daisy,who was know as Francis at the time of her death. Mary and Benedictine are alive and well and Mary is now known as Jeff!!!
