Silkie started sitting on March 23

I have a black Silkie hen that is sitting on 11 eggs right now. She started with 4 and one of my other hens laid extra eggs under her. I have not seen any babies yet and am getting worried. What should I do??

If the first few hatch, will she sit on the rest or should I find a bator to hatch them in.

This is my first time hatching eggs and need some help from the pros.

Give her time, they should have started hatching by now but just in the last day or 2 even if some have hatched she might keep them under her for a couple days. Most people will tell you that she will abandon the eggs once some of the chicks hatch this has not been my personal experience I have had broodies sitting on NO eggs that wouldnt move to take care of chicks, I would try to get an incubator ready incase you need it. It's to early to start worrying! Good luck and keep us posted!
