I went out to feed my smaller birds this morning and one of the silkies wasn't moving. I picked her up and her neck starts violently swinging around her belly. I Held her neck high and it stopped moving but she can't put her head straight. I took her in the house and set her up with food and water. She can't eat food off the ground it has to be elevated and the same with the water(Large 49er coffee mug height seemed to do it). She is just in a small tub that isn't more than 6 inches high but she can't get out of it. Once she gets her head high she can keep it there but she is really struggling to lift it to that level. Should I splint her neck straight or let her strenghen on her own? I can move her neck straight and she doesn't seem in pain. Please help!
