I know it's hard to sex these guys but, any thoughts?
Pullet! Though, is she a mix? Her feathers aren't like a silkies', except her head!
She is a silkie frizzle! I will be thrilled if she is a pullet!!!!
How cute! She is awfully adorable! I want one like her!
The reason I think pullet is because the comb looks so small still, her stance is low like the partridge pullet I have.
My silkie rooster stands SO high in comparison!
And I don't see any saddle feathers or streamers. Which you would see at this age!
Thank you so much! I love her, they make the cutest sounds! Your partridge is beautiful!
You're welcome! I'm sure you do! I love my babies too Is this one your only silkie/silkiexfrizzle?
Thank you! All my silkies have such varying personalities, and they all sound different too! It's so interesting
But part of it is probably because Sunflower, the partridge, is from a breeder and has really good lines and the other two are from a hatchery.
I have one more, but "she" is only 5 weeks
Aww, aww, aww what a cutie!!! You hoping for a girl in that one too?
This is Gracey, my hen that is laying right now! Her crest is wild, but no streamers!
This is my rooster, Willow! See his super obvious streamers and tall stance? x)
Well, we are not allowed roosters where we live, but, I wouldn't mind a couple of chicks, if you know what I mean! Lol.
Willow is quite the looker, I need to borrow him
