Silkie!!!!

I'm so happy,
the lady we gave our mean rooster to has lots of chickens. Infact... a girl and boy silkie pair!
So, my mom has always wanted a silkie, like. REALLY wants one.
I'll give you a picture of how much:
*We were at the store to order our 2011 chicks*
Mom: "Oh my gosh, theres NO silkies! I want a silkie!!!"
Me: "... mom they don't have silkies."
Mom: "But I WANT a silkie!"

Lol. Okay, she wants one.
I tell my dad,
"Go ask her if we could have a baby silkie for mom!"
so, in about 3-4 weeks my ne- or.. my mom's new baby chick is going to be apart of the farm!

I'm SO excited!
It'll be a little tiny baby

I remember getting my first silkie. The babies really WERE tiny. Not just sayin that because I'm used to staring at sussexes all day

oh, you must get her two! They don't like to be alone. Another one to pal around with and pile with at the end of a long day. Two is no more trouble then 1!
