Silkies Age, and Color?

    Just wondering if there is any way to tell yet. I realize that they are very hard to sex, so I understand if not. I am also new to this and unsure as to what color they are considered.

    My silkie hen, Lorraine @ 8 weeks old. Your's is probably around 4 or 5 weeks old. My guess only.

    The colouring is called blue. [​IMG]

    ETA: My silkie doesn't have the blue skin. Not sure how this happens. Both parents are pure silky, and have blue skin [​IMG]

    The lighter one's crest looks more spiky and rooish ... the darker one's crest seems to be developing towards a poof ... thus more hennish. [​IMG]
