Mr. Woof is moulting, and he's 3 years old. He reallllly enjoys seeing clearly. It's almost a shame his poofness is returning, as his winter feathers come in...

Is there any chance his mighty pouf will decrease with age?

I think they normally keep the same poofs over the years....You can trim that, ya know, so that he can see better, as long as you don't mind him with a short hairdo.

Personally, I wouldn't call that a "big poof", if you can see his eyes, he surely can see you too.

I don't know how most of mine get around, and I can't see their eyes unless I push back the feathers. If he were my bird, I'd just leave him the way he is.
