silkies.. what gender? what color?

    any help would be appreciated. do only the males have the redness and wattles?

    They all like buffs. The second one might be a red, possibly a partridge. I think they are all roosters though...they have that slicked back crests. [​IMG]

    this is the only one i know is female, she is older than rest and lays eggs, the white one.

    They are all buff...exept for the white one its white...

    darn darn darn! i ws afraid you all would say that! that means i have 4 roos and 3 hens
    they were born in may, according to the woman i got them from...making them about 5 months

    The third buff one and the white one are pullets and the others are roos. If they are all the same age. Sorry.

    I have 3 black silkies 6 weeks old. I never had a Silkie before. How big do they get?

    They are considered a bantam breed but are a little bigger than the typical bantams like OEGB's. I am not sure about the exact weights but you can do a search for them on feathersite and it gives lots of info.
