how can u tell the sex of a silkie? they seem like they would be alot harder to tell!

Justino, I have 2 white silkies that are 16 weeks old now, and I still have no idea what they are.
From what I've heard, they are one of the hardest breeds to sex.

Hey !! if it crows its a boy,
if it lays an egg then its a female,
If it crows and lays eggs, then its a"transexual" I dont deal with these certain types of chickens but "purplechicken" might sujest something??

i think they are the easiest for me! the males crests develop a slight bump very early. They also seem quieter as very young chicks, until they start to crow....
