    hi [IMG]

just wondered how big silkie bantams get?? i have a selection of breeds. my smallest being a white leghorne and araucana. is a silkie that sort of size? ive never had bantams.. ive looked a pictures of silkie bantams and they look quite big for bantams. id like to get a silkie because they look awesome and are good broodies.. as ive got some small breeds im hoping a silkie would fit in quite well [IMG]

    any suggestions? [IMG]

Quote:for every 1Kg it equals 2.2 lbs [IMG] example...10 Kg dog would weigh 22lbs so your BO weighs 9 lbs 10 ozs. Thats a big roo. I have a silver laced brahma roo he's 14 months old and huge! Silkies are generally very sweet and patient when it comes to mixing with other small birds. I use my silkies as foster moms alot. When I have to find space for chicks that are 6-8 weeks old-they go in with my silkies until they grow bigger:)
