    If any of you have silkies could youtalk about them and maybe post pictures?[​IMG] O ya ummmm do silkies mix well with other cickens?

    Welcome! There are lots of people on here that have Bee-yoo-tiful silkies.
    I have a handful of them, and yes, they get along well with the other birds. [​IMG]

    They tend to mix okay if you raise them together but I dont keep mine in the pens with standards as I have breeder pens. You can look at my Website and see my silkies

    I had 2 black silkie roo's that I kept for a couple of months while trying to rehome them for someone, and the only problem I had with them was that they can't see very well because of their facial plumage, and the standard chickens I have easily intimadated them, so they weren't getting enough feed. I had to seperate them out to feed them.

    This is my beautiful Buff Silkie Roo. He is a hand full but so sweet. Silkies are my favorite.
