Hi,
First time poster so I hope I get it right! Our school has a random assortment of chickens about 12-15 months old. My daughter noticed today that her favourite silky bantam has a crusty face, wattle and her eyes are stuck shut (one 100% and one 95%). She is trying to eat but with her compromosed vision it is a bit hit and miss. We don't have much other detail being as they are school chickens and I am not as familiar with them as I am my own, but hoping someone out there has some advice? I was thiking it might be scaly face mite, but really I am unsure.
Photo below. Thanks in advance.
