Silly Chickens

    My girls usually put themselves to bed at night, tonight I could not find them. I never thought to look UP!

    Good thinking...a broom! I was thinking that they might get uncomfortable being up there all night. lol

    I use an old natural corn broom, whack them on the butt. Then grab them fast and put them up. Not so much uncomfortable as unsafe. A raccoon could easily climb up there.

    my husband and son are out there now with the net from the pool and a broom. Maybe i should be taking more pictures. lol

    It broke from my son trying to play basketball in the middle of the winter. Nobody was injured, but hubby was not happy! lol

    Hahaha, great photo! I love when chickens roost in funny places like that. [​IMG] I remember one time I found my rooster roosting on the side mirror of my mom's truck, of all places!
