SILLY QUESTION! How do you know if your chicks dont like you?

I have 26 1 1/2 week old chicks, and they seem to hate me! Everytime I put my hand in they run away, and I pick every one up every day. What should I do?

If you take the time to let them get used to you, they will calm down.

PS: They dont hate you, they are scared of you.
