What do you put your chicken in when sticking it in the refrigerator, before cooking it?

We haven't gotten this far yet with our chickens so I have some learning to do before my DH goes to slaughtering. [IMG]

Do you mean what type of container, like a plastic bag or do you mean what type of brine?

I found ziploc bags that are 2.5 gallon that work like a charm.

I have only done one so far, but I put mine in the food saver bags worked great!
Though them bags can get expensive, but will work well in the freezer.

Brine is salt water or a generic term for liquid with salt and/or sugar. You can brine chicken in buttermilk with salt and/or sugar added. Most folks brine in salt water at about a teaspoon of salt per quart of water.
